My name is Ludmylla and I am a veterinarian specialized in anaesthesiology and emergency medicine at the Federal University of Goias/Brazil. When I was 4 years old, I heard a song that told the story of a child who could hear the voice of animals and create medicine to cure them. Immediately after hearing this song, I decided that I would become a veterinarian and I have never changed my mind. In my country, education is extremely expensive and my only chance would be to go to a public university. I took part in a very difficult competition in which I competed for 100 places with 900 applicants and I had the honour of coming 11th. During my studies, I did an exchange year in the first veterinary school in the world, in Lyon, France, and I was able to improve my French. Back in Brazil, still in the same university, I did my internship in anaesthesiology and emergency medicine. I work as a VA for the wonderful team of Vetocambre where I have the pleasure to take care of animals with all my love.
