Parasites & Prevention

Prevention of intestinal worms

Puppies and kitties: Treatment with anti-parasitic drugs is done during 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th week of age and afterwards once monthly until the age of 6 months.

Adult dogs and cats: Adult animals which are kept inside have to be treated with anti-parasitics once a year. Animals living outside, which are often in contact with other animals, have to be treated three or four times a year. It is necessary to keep in mind that dogs get infected by being in contact with excrements and by fleas. Dog owners collecting their pets’ excrements contribute to the prevention of the parasites propagation.
