Dr Lisa Sailer

"Every day I look forward to going to the practice and taking the best care of your beloved animals."

My name is Dr. Lisa Sailer.

Growing up, I was always interested in nature and wildlife. I talked about being a marine researcher or a ranger at a national park. Of course these were really keen ideas. Getting older I realised, in these jobs you don’t have a lot of “on hands“ contact with animals. So after graduation I decided to become a veterinarian, which was definitely the right choice. I completed my studies in 2018 at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, Germany. After this I received a doctorate in Switzerland where I worked and lived for two years. My thesis was about the health of dairy goats. I really enjoyed my time there and it was a great experience discovering all of Switzerland by visiting 28 dairy goat farms. My Paper was nominated for “animals Best Paper Award 2023”. In summer 2020 I moved back to Germany to work in a practice for small animals. There I gained experience in internal medicine, imaging diagnostics and soft tissue surgery. My interest also lies with preventive medicine, which I think is very important and should get promoted more. In Oktober 2023 I moved to Brussels and started to work at Vetocambre in November 2023. I appreciate the great, motivated and professional team. Here I can expand and deepen my knowledge. Every day I look forward to going to the practice and taking the best care of your beloved animals.
